Welcome to Cypress Lake High School "Panthers Cheerleading"
Mission Statement:
The mission of the CLHS “Panthers Cheerleading” Team is to unify and uplift the fans and student body at Cypress Lake High School as well as the Ft. Myers community through high quality, enthusiastic cheerleading, dance routines and outreach activities! The CLHS “Panthers Cheerleading” Team teaches the values of being a positive role model, lifelong leader, and philanthropist along with maintaining high academic and athletic performance standards. We believe these traits will develop successful cheerleaders and will generate success in life!

The Panther Cheerleading Team is an enthusiastic group of CLHS students who bring excitement to sports as they lead the students in cheering on our football and basketball teams as well as other sports and other CLHS groups.
The Panther Cheerleaders participate in Pep Rallies, Football Games, Basketball Games, as well as other school events and other sports.
Football Season - August through November
Basketball Season - November through February
Philanthropy! The Panthers Cheerleaders raise money for various causes. Each month they pick a new charity to support as part of their monthly outreach efforts. They also support their main philanthropy, The Ronald McDonald House, all year long by collecting pull tabs and volunteering at RM Houses!

Football program Ads - UPDATE - 8-4-14
Make sure you are out there working on these. You can find a list of past advertisers on the documents pageas well as a list of those who were sponsors in our 2014 Golf Tournament so check it out and make sure you are trying to contact some of these as they have already supported us. Ads will bring the largest % of fundraising to your accounts and we really need to get ads for the program. Remember each member is responsible to sell AT LEAST $150 in ads. This is a team as well as individual fundraiser so EVERYONE has to participate. This is not an optional fundraiser.
All ads are due by 8/15/14

Physicals Night - Tuesday, 8/5/14, 5-7:30
in the CLHS gym. This is for anyone still not having a completed physical and other necessary athletic paperwork. $20 is the fee and there will be a notary on site.

Things to work on - during your time off in the next couple of weeks you need to continue to work on skills, technique and conditioning daily to come back with stronger skills than ever! Check out the documents that were uploaded to the "documents" page. You will sign a contract to work on these items during July and everyone is expected to do their part.

Summer workouts - to help build endurance and to keep in shape over the summer follow the summer workout list. Also work on stretching that should be done daily as well.

please go to the Cypress Lake High School, Athletics page or the tryout page (these have been updated). The Athletic handbook is also available on the CLHS Athletics page and on the tryout page. You will need to review is so that you may sign the Handbook Agreement form on the back.
